Christmas garden visitors

Over the Christmas holidays, I have been spending a lot of time watching the birds in my garden!

After finding out I would be working from home for a few weeks after the holiday, I decided to give my garden bird setup a makeover!

I added lots of natural twigs and branches for photography purposes and moved the feeders around!

I have been watching a flock of 6 long-tailed tits all on a feeder at the same time, a pair of great spotted woodpeckers slowly building up the courage to come closer and nuthatches squabbling on the bird table!

I have gradually gained my garden visitor’s trust and I am now able to sit just 2m away from them whilst they are feeding!

Hey! My name is Izzy Fry, I am a 17 year old aspiring wildlife conservationist living in Wiltshire.
