A wander round local nature reserves

Last week, I had a lovely wander round 2 local nature reserves – Fishlake Meadows and Titchfield Haven both in Hampshire.

To start with, I visited Fishlake Meadows. The weather was not the best, but I still saw a lot! My favourites being a very close encounter with a song thrush and worm as well as stonechats and lots of robins!

I also went back in the evening for a sunset walk which was absolutely beautiful!

At Titchfield Haven, I saw lots of lapwings, oystercatchers, Canada geese and teal but they were all a bit to far for photos. A great birding destination though!

However by the entrance near the beach, I got really close to some turnstones and a redshank which were lovely to photograph!

It was a lovely couple of days exploring some great local reserves!
