I have a particular interest in photographing birds. Every minute of my spare time I am out watching the birds in my garden! I take part in the BTO Big garden bird watch and record my sightings! In my garden we have lots of different birds, such as: Nuthatches, Marsh tits, Greater spotted woodpeckers, Goldfinches, Long-tailed tits, Robins, Collared doves as well as many more!

Nuthatches are blue-grey above and whitish below, with chestnut on its sides and under its tail. It has a black stripe on its head, a long black pointed bill and short legs. They have a diet of: Insects, hazel nuts, acorns, beechmast and other nuts and seed. I have a pair of nuthatches that visit my garden regularly throughout the day.
